Bristol, the maritime City that has been transformed over the last 20 years. A real party town with an influx of new bars, restaurants and clubs in the “Floating Harbour” area of the city. Bristol is an exciting city, overflowing with intriguing, traditional and occasionally off the wall things to do and see. Its harbourside location is lined with attractions, boats, restaurants and museums. The mix of historic and new, and having been designated a European Centre of Culture, the city continues to celebrate in style with a year round calendar of events and festivals.
A bit limited when it comes to outdoor activities but the usual suspects are there such as karting and paintball. Yes it sounds appealing and you’ll probably have a good time. However it could be so much better. Unfortunately Bristol is yet another example of these homogenous cities we have increasingly replicated throughout the UK. The same usual suspects along the High Street, the same conglomerate chain restaurants, bars and even nightclubs. Familiar like an old pair of socks yes – a different and new experience it is not. For a stag weekend you want something different, a one off experience.

Get out of the smoke and away from the rat-race. If you want something memorable and a real experience try outdoor adventure activities in natures’s real adventure playground – the Brecon Beacons National Park. This is the place to get up close and personal with the outdoors, challenge yourself with the only risk being you’ll have a great time. Get away from that urban jungle and experience the outdoors in Wales.
