Aussie Stag Night Activity ideas

Can you guess what one of the most popular stag night activities in Australia is at the moment - bowls. Yes that's right bowls! Forget this mad Aussie up for it impression they give, what do they do on their stag night, bungee jump, canyoning - no it has to be bowls. I'm not kidding.

Apparently bowls is increasing in popularity with a younger audience unlike the stuffy image it has in the UK - a game played by people waiting for God. One of the reasons for its popularity is that it is a game which can be played by all including Dads, uncles and fathers of the bride, the grounds usually have a bar and drinking and generally roudyness is less frowned upon.

Anyone for a game of bowls?

Stag Night Stunts - Traditional Stag/Wedding Pranks

Canyoning for your stag party
Nightclub Swansea for your stag weekend

It's obviously traditional to play some practical jokes on the stag and hen. But remember they can go wrong. Remember don't do anything which will really upset the hen/bride or her family. You as the Best Man are going to have to spend the whole day with them. They will hold you responsible for ruining their daughter's biggest day if the groom hasn't any body hair left after his stag night. These are some stag night ideas:

1. Don't Leave your House Keys with Your Best Man

One couple left for their honeymoon thinking they had left their house in the safe hands of the Best Man. Wrong decision.

The Best Man and friends removed the downstairs front wall of the house drove the couple's car into the lounge and bricked the front of the house back up again. What a great surprise for the couple when they returned home!

3. Chicken Run

Then there was the best man who, again while the couple were away, came up with the hilarious idea of leaving chickens in the attic of the couples house. They thought they had big mice.

4. Mother-In-Law

Bring along on the stag night blown up photos of the mother-in-law to be. Do with them what you will - throw darts at them, wear them as masks - all in the best possible taste of course!

5. Put a Dress on Him

Before that big night out the best man needs to get down to the nearest charity shop and buy the loudest  and largest dress with matching wig and accessories possible. It is then obligatory for the stag to wear these for the whole night. You'll be amazed how much attention he gets!

6. Fancy Dress

Dress the whole group up in fancy dress. Nothing better than doing a pub crawl or going to a nightclub as a bunch of berserk Vikings. Some other stag night favourites are:-

Star Wars. Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Super Heroes, Scooby Doo, Abba, Grease, 70's, Bad taste, Village People, Elvis, Pirates, Romans, Mexicans, Blues Brothers the list is endless!

7. T-Shirts with a Photo of the Stag

Find the most embarassing photo you can find of the stag - Get it printed onto t-shirts for each group member and make it obligatory (drinkls fines if don't) to wear them all weekend.
